DIARY OF SISÍ DAMMY 003

THANK GOD ALWAYS

Hello wonderful people! I must confess that I’m really encouraged to know you read me and appreciate what I share though I’m but a little child 🤗 🤗. I’m motivated to do more. Today, I’m sharing what this lockdown has taught me in reference to how life used to be before Coronavirus. I hope you’ll get value from this.
I am the fellowship coordinator in my school and we hold our meetings every Friday. So, on a Friday, I was appointing the people that would take charge of different activities for the meeting. I was then looking for the person that would take prayers for the school. I told some students in Junior School 2 to take it because none of the students in that class was on the list. All of them turned it down. Some said they would not be available while some said they were sorry but cannot take it.

Then I remembered a boy that comes for fellowship regularly but maybe he was somehow neglected and he was not really outspoken so this made his classmates take him for granted. I asked the boy if he is ok with taking the prayer and he said he is. When it was time for the prayer, he said something that amused me and I can never forget it. He said “Lord we thank you for bringing us to this school, we thank you because we are coming to school”. Immediately he said this, his classmates burst into laughter.  We thought that was funny until Coronavirus came and we haven’t been able to go to school. The time we had the opportunity to go to school, his classmates did not thank God.

My lesson from this 👇 👇

We should learn to thank God for everything. Now those people do not have the opportunity to say “Lord we thank you because we are coming to school”. We should thank God in all circumstances. We should thank Him for His mercy, love and even the privilege you have to worship Him. You can even thank God you can read this because some can’t ☺.
Till I come your way again, don’t forget to always thank God.
