I believe it’s not too late for me to wish you all Happy New Year as this is my first post this year. Thank God who has brought us this far. My appreciation also goes to you all for your perpetual support since I began this journey. Today, I’m going to deal with a simple yet important issue and I hope you will get value from it. If you’re ready, let’s roll.

How often should I give a “No” and mean it? How often should I say “Yes”? These are the kind of questions that do give me concern as a young girl. When people say “Yes”, do they always mean it or they just give a “Yes” to satisfy the other person so that he/she won’t be angry?

How many times do you give a “Yes” when deep down, you know it is a “No”? Or how many times have you given a “No” when you know it is a “Yes”? This reminds of me of one of our popular primary school rhymes that ends with these words “…do not say yes when you mean to say no.”

The fact that all your friends are doing something wrong does not mean you should join them. A person was teaching and he said “Others may but I cannot because I am special”. We should stand our ground and let people know us for who we are. We must never compromise our standard for anything or anybody.

My dear lovers, do not be wrongly influenced so that people looking up to you would not also be wrongly influenced. Take your stand for who you are and for what is right. There are many who depend on you and you can’t afford to fail them. Shalom 🤗
