On the 9th of October, 2021 the city of Ibadan, Oyo State witnessed a gathering of young creative writers hosted by Witty Writers’ World.

We are glad to share the wonderful moments captured on camera with you.

The event began with the Nigeria national anthem as opening prayer after which other activities followed. The founder of Witty Writers’ World, Olabayo Joshua Awodirepo gave the participants a very warm welcome. See the video below.

The theme of this year’s event is ‘Your art, your influence’ and Mr Dimeji Sodeke did justice to this theme by opening our eyes to every necessary aspect of writing to make positive impact. We believe you would enjoy watching the playback as shared below.

The participants also had the privilege of taking the stage to showcase their talent in carrying out different tasks and they were awarded gifts and certificates.

Tolu A. Akinyemi (Tolu Toludo) all the way from Newcastle, the United Kingdom also sent us his greetings and read wonderful poems for us from his collection of poems. In case you wish to get any of his books, do well to contact us via mail wittywritersworld@gmail.com.

Professor Ramonu Sanusi was ably represented by Mr Nafiu Olóore who made us know a few things about Ramonu Sanusi and his literary journey. The interview session also opened our eyes to why we must keep writing even when we don’t get the kind of reactions we expect. Enjoy the video below.

Our second Keynote speaker, Mr Ebika Anthony spoke with us extensively on writing career mistakes we must avoid, how one can become a proficient writer, profits one can make from writing and what publishing a publishing à book entails.

Mr Ebika Anthony

It was indeed a great moment with creative people all around. We couldn’t resist sharing the pictures below with you 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗

Special thanks to all our brand supporters
